FUEL Vehicle Tags
FUEL™ Vehicle Tags are maintenance-free, passive low-frequency RFID tags designed to provide secure and automatic identification of vehicles at fueling stations. These rugged tags are mounted near the vehicle’s fuel inlet and communicate with a Fuel Management System (FMS) via an RFID Nozzle Unit to ensure authorized fueling, track usage, and prevent misfuelling. Ideal for commercial fleets, construction vehicles, and buses, FUEL™ Vehicle Tags eliminate the need for manual data entry while enhancing accuracy, traceability, and operational efficiency. The tag wirelessly transmits a unique vehicle ID and designated fuel type to the FMS, which then verifies authorization and dispenses the correct fuel amount. Designed for harsh conditions, these tags are water- and fuel-proof, resistant to temperature extremes, and feature an anti-tamper mechanism that destroys the tag if removed, preventing misuse or transfer to unauthorized vehicles.
